This handsome, 14-story, champagne-colored, anodized aluminum-clad building at 242 Broome Street in the East Village was erected in 2017 and has 55 condominium apartments including 11 “affordable†units.
It was designed by SHoP Architects and built by Delancey Street Associates, a joint venture of Taconic Investment Partners LLC, L & M Development Partners and BFC Partners.
It is part of the Essex Crossing complex.
DXA Studio is the interior designer.
The project is expected to open in 2018.
